The Scimore server instances run as Windows Services. To install a new server instance, you will need to have permissions to install new services. The easiest way to ensure this is to run Scimore Database Manager as Administrator when you run the Server Installation Wizard. 

You can start and stop them using the Administrative Tool "Services". This can usually be found in your start menu Programs->Administrative Tools->Services or in the Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Services. Scimore Database Server Instances run with the name scimoredb-[id], where [id] is the numeric identifier of the server instance.
